Only four of the original residents of Cluan Place remain.

Protestant families have lived and raised their families there for many years, never once inflicting any sectarian attack on their Catholic neighbours and yet this year, possibly because the spotlight has been taken away from Holy Cross dispute, we see a vicious attempt being made to ethnically cleanse Cluan Place of the small number of Protestant families. CLUAN Place is a little Protestant cul-de-sac close to the nationalist Short Strand in Belfast.
